The Transfer Flow is looking to add a Social Media Intern to our team. This is a part-time role, running to Dec 31, 2024. Pay is $15/hr with the role requiring an estimated 10-20 hours per week. Applicants should have a strong working knowledge of European football. Working hours will typically be between 12-6pm UK time.
Role Overview
As a Social Media Intern specializing in video editing, you will play a key role in enhancing The Transfer Flow's online presence. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing engaging video content for our social media platforms, with a focus on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Your role will involve editing podcast episodes into captivating video clips, developing promotional content, and helping us connect with our audience through effective social media strategies. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our content not only highlights the best moments of our podcast but also resonates with and grows our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing: Edit podcast episodes and create short, engaging video clips for social media platforms.
Content Creation: Develop video highlights, trailers, and promotional content that capture key moments and promote upcoming episodes.
Social Media Management: Schedule and post video content across social media channels.
Engagement: Monitor social media interactions and engage with our audience to build a community around our podcast.
Collaboration: Work with the team to ensure that video content aligns with our brand and episode themes.
Trend Awareness: Stay informed about social media trends and video content best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience or coursework in video editing, especially related to podcasting or media content.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
Creativity: Ability to create visually engaging video content that captures the essence of podcast episodes.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.
Social Media Knowledge: Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices for video content.
